They Whom God has filled, cannot any longer be empty!

Blessed Father, as the baptized we do not come as those who are empty;
for You have filled us with the fullness of Christ our Lord and His salvation.
If there were not enough, Your new mercies never cease to fall upon us and for us.
You so surround us that we are hemmed in before and behind by Your keeping.
You have made us the heirs of all things in Jesus Christ.
As You never speak to us except from Your sacred Word;
Speak Your word to us that we may have ears to hear and hearts to believe.
As You do not touch us except in the Sacrament of Your body and blood;
Touch us in this communion so all that we are shall be fully shared with You
and all that You are shall be so fully shared with us as to overcome what we are.
You do not show Yourself to us except behind the masks of many through which provide for us in body and soul.
Show Yourself to us in these blessed masks that we may taste and see that the Lord is good and righty give thanks unto the Lord our God.
Grant us the blessed keeping of Your Holy Spirit,
for the wickedness and evil that overcomes many is about us on all sides.
Grant us the wisdom of Your Holy Spirit,
for we have no way by which to discern the weakness and waywardness of sinful man.
Grant us the unyielding power of Your Holy Spirit,
for we have no strength and are easily cast down, hard pressed in our infirmity.
As we are so often overcome and caught by our own sinfulness, grant that none who have been baptized may ever question their worth and usefulness in the Kingdom of God, for the blood of Christ has washed them, the seal of the Holy Spirit has been pressed upon them, and the love of God that Father abides with us all.
Lord have mercy.
Christ have mercy.
Lord have mercy.  Amen.
