O Lord, have mercy upon us.

O Christ, have mercy upon us.

O Lord, have mercy upon us.

O Father in heaven,

For the sake of Jesus Christ –

Hear our prayer.

Lord God, heavenly Father –

From all our sinful thoughts;

From all our sinful words;

From all our sinful desires;

From all our sinful actions;

From all our lack of faith and faithfulness;

From all our doubt and despair;

And from all our unbelief;

Good Lord have mercy upon us.

Good Lord forgive us and deliver us.

Lord God, heavenly Father –

From all vanity of our ego;

From all the illusions of our sinful pride;

From all trust in the illusions of others;

From all want of praise and gratification;

From all dependence upon on earthly affirmations;

From all want of earthly glory;

From all lust for earthly pleasure;

From all fear of earthly powers;

From all temptations to these and other great sins of unbelief;

From the assaults of the devil and our own flesh;

And from the enticements of this world to sin –

Good Lord have mercy upon us.

Good Lord deliver and defend us.

Blessed Lord Jesus Christ,

Son of God and Son of man –

By all Your holy seeing;

By all Your holy understanding;

By all Your holy decisions;

By all Your holy thoughts;

By all Your holy desires;

By all Your holy compassion;

By all Your holy speaking;

By all Your holy ministrations of mercy;

By all Your holy living;

By all Your holy love;

And by Your holy work of baptism –

Blessed Lord have mercy upon us and help us.

Blessed Lord we implore You to grant these to us and through us to those we serve.

Gracious God our heavenly Father –

In all times of doubts;

In all times of temptation;

In all times of trouble;

In all times of fear;

In all times of laziness;

In all times of apathy;

In all times of anger;

In all times of frustration;

And in all times of selfishness –

Hear us and mercifully help us blessed Lord.

Hear us and mercifully deliver us blessed Lord.

Gracious God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit –

For the strengthening of our faith by Your Word;

For faithfulness to Your Word;

For faithfulness to Your Church;

For faithfulness to our family;

For faithfulness to those we are to serve;

For faithfulness in all our thoughts, words, desires and deeds;

For faithfulness in our prayers;

For faithfulness in all our times of trouble and ease;

And for the faithfulness of the Holy Spirit to work all these in us –

We implore You to hear our prayer O Lord.

We implore You to have mercy upon us for the sake of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

O God the Father, Blessed Creator,

Have mercy upon us and hear our prayer.

O God the Son, Jesus Christ, Blessed Redeemer,

Have mercy upon us and hear our prayer.

O God the Holy Spirit, blessed Sanctifier

Have mercy upon us and hear our prayer.

O Lord, have mercy upon us.
